πŸŒ™ How “Floating Until Six” Came to Life

This track began with a simple desire: to write a jazz waltz.
I've always been drawn to the gentle sway of 3/4 time — the way it moves like a conversation, not in straight lines but in circles.
I imagined something mellow and quietly adventurous, with soft drum rhythms gently tugging at the edges, guiding the listener into a twilight drift.

But the soul of the track emerged on the day it was created.
That day’s Western astrology chart revealed a subtle tension in the air — the Moon had just shifted from Sagittarius to Capricorn, after an unusually long void-of-course phase. Uranus was also on the move, stirring the sky.

Everything felt soft, suspended, and unanchored — like time had loosened its grip.
That moment of emotional weightlessness became the heart of the song.

✨ That’s how the title came to be:
“Floating Until Six” —
a sound for when the world feels quiet and undefined, just before night begins to shape things again.

I hope it carries you gently through that space,
wherever and whenever you find it.

Vertex Whispers of First Light

Vertex Whispers of First Light is a jazz waltz born from an unusual constellation.

This track was composed under the influence of a celestial mini-triangle formed by Aquarius, Aries, and Gemini — each contributing its own airy spark: innovation, motion, and intellect. With the Moon passing through Aquarius, a quiet kind of futuristic introspection lingered in the atmosphere.

Infused with tabla rhythms, jazzy 3/4 grooves, and subtle hip hop textures, the piece opens with a moment of stillness — as if the stars are taking a breath — then unfolds like a whisper carried on early morning wind.

The title reflects this mood: Vertex Whispers of First Light — a fleeting alignment, a breath between worlds, a geometry heard more than seen.

🎧 Best experienced in solitude, or with stars overhead.

🌿 Three New Jazz Tracks Coming Soon!

πŸŒΏ Three New Jazz Tracks Coming Soon!

Releasing July 22, 12:00 AM (Tokyo)

Hey friends πŸ‘‹
Summer is in full swing here in Japan — the cicadas are singing day and night. It's something many of us quietly appreciate as a sound of the season, a kind of natural soundtrack to summer days.

I’m excited to share three new jazz tracks with you, each capturing a different feeling of this time of year:

🎐 Natsushigure Serenade
Inspired by natsushigure — a light, sudden summer rain that comes and goes quickly. Unlike heavy storms, it's more like a gentle emotional pause in the heat, often catching you off guard in the most poetic way.

πŸŒ• When the Moon Tastes of Honey
πŸ₯ Under the Mango Moon
These two are like musical twins — both written in a 3/4 groove and born from dreamy nights under a glowing summer moon. Think of warm air, soft rhythms, and skies full of slow-moving clouds.

All three tracks drop on July 22 at 12:00 AM (Tokyo time).
Hope they bring some peace and atmosphere to your day, wherever you are.

Thanks for listening, as always πŸŒ™✨

☔ Two New Jazz Tracks Coming Soon! 🎢

Releasing July 20, 12:00 AM (Tokyo)

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

Here in Japan, we're just starting to move out of tsuyu — our rainy season. It's a unique time of year when soft rains fall almost daily, often for weeks, creating a calm, moody atmosphere. Inspired by this fleeting season, I’ve created two new jazz tracks that reflect the quiet beauty of these rainy days.

🎧 Velvet Reverie

🌧️ Melancholy Inazumaame Rain

Both will be available this Saturday, July 20 at 12:00 AM (Tokyo time).

Even though the rainy season is ending, I wanted to capture a little piece of it in sound — something to remember this year’s tsuyu by. Hope these tracks bring a bit of calm and nostalgia wherever you are in the world.

Stay tuned, and thanks always for listening. 🌦️🎢
